High Boy Side Wheels

WHERE
High Boy Side Wheels are the vertical side surface cleaning powerhouse of any friction tunnel. Place them toward the rear of the main friction wash zone.
WHY
High Boy Side Wheels are bottom driven to save space while designed to scrub the sides of vehicles from the rims to the top of the side windows from the front grill all the way to the rear tail light. They are the perfect compliment to Wrap Arounds.

HIGH BOY™ SIDE WHEELS
Motor City's High Boy Side Wheels feature a bottom drive design that saves precious tunnel length. The High Boys only take up 6 feet of tunnel length, while using a 72 inch tall brush X 60 inch diameter brush at the top tapered down to 48 inch diameter on the lower third of each brush. High Boy Side Wheels are offered with hydraulic drive as standard.  You can choose a 1 H.P. electric drive motor and gearbox as an upgrade option, which delivers 90RPM. The motor is wash down rated with a stainless steel housing, and the gearbox has an aluminum housing to stand up to the harsh environment of a car wash. A shock and spring are used to hold tension on the side of vehicles. Air operated extend pressure and retracts can be chosen as an upgrade option. Its simplistic design delivers excellent wash coverage on the sides of vehicles from the wheels all the way up to the top of side windows of trucks and SUV’s at line speeds of 150 cars per hour or more.
