WHERE
The Accelrator™ Top Wheel is the top surface cleaning workhorse of any friction tunnel car wash, and normally they are placed in the middle of the main wash zone in the tunnel. |

ACCELERATOR™ TOP WHEEL
The Motor City Accelerator™ Horizontal Top Wheel operates with a 1.5 H.P. electric drive motor and gearbox which delivers 100RPM. It includes an 80 inch wide X 54 inch diameter Star Foam™ brush. The Accelerator™ has a single leg support structure so it can be installed on either the driver side or the passenger side. Its simplistic design delivers excellent coverage on low vehicle front ends and washes midway down the rears of SUV’s at line speeds of 150 cars per hour. The Accelerator™ shares many standard features with equipment in the Wash Works product offering.

The optional Pick Up Truck Bed Detector recognizes open pick up truck beds and will retract the brush before it enters the open bed. The best part is that it will allow the brush to wash the front half of the truck, bed mounted tool boxes, and tonneau covers! No other top wheel is as smart!
